Anne Riveros Frutos
Medical specialist in the Rheumatology Service at the Germans Trias Hospital.
Graduated in Medicine from the National University of Asunción, Paraguay, in 2005. Specialist in Rheumatology (MIR) from the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in May 2014. PhD in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in January 2021, with the doctoral thesis entitled “Clinical Phenotypes of Systemic Lupus Eritematosus: Young and old man”, with an Excellent Cum laude qualification.
She has worked as an adjunct doctor in the Rheumatology Service of the General Hospital of Granollers and the Hospital of Sant Celoni (2015-2017) and, since 2018, she has been an adjunct doctor in the Rheumatology Service of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. She is the author of several publications in indexed journals and has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences. He has received several scholarships, including the 2014 Talent Retention Grant from the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital.
She is part of the working group of Fem deCat and CapiCAT-MES in the Catalan Rheumatology Society. In addition, she is a collaborating researcher in the RELESSER, MYOSPAIN and ARTESER projects of the Spanish Rheumatology Society (SER).
His main area of interest are systemic autoimmune diseases, with special dedication to systemic lupus erythematosus, antiphospholipid syndrome and vasculitis. It is in charge of the monographic consultation of systemic autoimmune diseases and multidisciplinary consultations: the Nefro-Reuma consultation, in collaboration with Nephrology, for the management of patients with lupic nephritis and vasculitis, and the CERCOL-Reuma consultation, in conjunction with Obstetrics, dedicated to the care of pregnant patients with autoimmune pathology.
