Neurology specialist. PhD. Internships at Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas) and the Stroke Center at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He has been part of the Neurology Department at Germans Trias since 1990, where he has worked within the framework of general neurology and neurohospitality. He has promoted the creation of the monographic consultation of headaches and has developed the carotid revascularization program in conjunction with Vascular Surgery and Intenventional Radiology Departments.

Within the scope of research, he has been a collaborator in the RETICS-RENEVAS network of the Spanish government's Carlos III Institute of Health. His main interests focus on the scope of neurological manifestations of systemic diseases, Sjögren's syndrome and erythematosus lupus; autoimmune headaches and neurological manifestations caused by retrovirus infections.
