PhD in Medicine from the UB with the thesis entitled "Study of Osea Mineral Density in Varones Affected by Rheumatoid Arthritis" (1994, excellent Cum Laude). Research grant from CIRIT (1991-1993). Collaborating researcher of 3 FISS projects. Direction of 3 doctoral theses (1 completed and 2 in progress). Member of the Subcommittee on immunosuppressants of the pharmacotherapeutic commission of the Catalan Institute of Health. Associate Professor of the Teaching Unit (UAB).

He has developed his professional activity at the Bellvitge University Hospital (1992-2004) and the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital (since 2004). Secretary and member of the Catalan Rheumatology Society. He has been a member of the editorial committee of Clinical Rheumatology (2006-2013) and its editorial board since 2012. She is the author of numerous publications in indexed and non-indexed journals, as well as author of several book chapters of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is currently a member of several medical societies related to the specialty. Reviewer of several national and international journals in her field and member of the evaluation committee of abstracts of the congress of the SER for more than 10 years.

As a clinical rheumatologist, she mainly devotes her time to assisting inflammatory rheumatic diseases, osteoarticular infections and the ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system.
