Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca and specialist in neurology at the Germans Trias Hospital. Master in Neuroimaging for research at the University of Edinburgh and PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2017. Between 2014 and 2016 she was the beneficiary of a Rio Hortega predoctoral research contract that allowed her to specialize in acute cerebrovascular pathology and neuroimaging in cerebrovascular pathology through external stays in the image laboratory of Hospital Josep Trueta and in the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary, Canada.

He currently combines clinical and research activity through a Juan Rodés post-doctoral contract. In Germans Trias he is part of the Basic and Translational Research Group in Neurosciences and the Neurovascular Research Group integrated in the Neurovascular Research Network of the Carlos III Health Institute of the Spanish Government. At this time, he collaborates with national and international groups in neuroimaging studies in the acute phase of stroke and its influence in the treatment of reperfusion, as well as in the development of advanced neuroimaging techniques in stroke.
