Principal researcher of the Immunology Service at Germans Trias Hospital

Bachelor in Biological Sciences, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Doctor in Medicine and Surgery,  UAB, with a project on diabetes and human pancreatic islet transplantation carried out at the Hospital Germans Trias. Post-doctoral research focused on  diabetes immonology and financed by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (US). Miguel Servet Researcher (under contract with the Carlos III Health Institute) at the Germans Trias Institute since 2000, where she has implemented experimental models for the study of diabetes.  She leads the research team on new immunotherapies to prevent and treat type I diabetes.  Associate professor of Immunology at the UAB Medical School at the Can Ruti Campus.
