Tutor of residents. Degree in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1986-1992). Specialist in Rheumatology at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital (1995-1999). PhD in Medicine from the UAB in 2015 with the thesis “Variaciones de la masa ósea en el trasplante de progenitores hematopoyéticos” with the qualification of excellent Cum Laude. He has developed his professional activity at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital since 1999. Head of the Densitometry Unit until 2016. Author of multiple publications in indexed and non-indexed journals, several chapters of rheumatology books and communications at national and international conferences. He has obtained several research grants from different scientific societies, including a FIS grant in 2002.

He is currently a member of several medical societies related to the specialty. His main areas of interest are inflammatory rheumatic diseases, especially rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, joint ultrasound and interstitial pulmonary affectation associated with systemic autoimmune diseases.
