Professional representative bodies

Elective bodies

The hospital has two elective bodies whose purpose is representing its professional staff. They are the Personnel Board and the Clinical Board. The Clinical Board also informs and advises the hospital administration and management on issues that have direct influence on professional practice.

Personnel Board
The German Trias union groups are represented here. It meets monthly, and it meets with management approximately every two months. Every four years, it is renewed through elections in which all hospital professionals may participate.

Clinical Board
It is made up of twenty representatives chosen by doctors. It meets whenever there are issues to be discussed. Every four years, it is renewed through elections in which all doctors may participate.

Other boards

There are also two non-elective boards at the German Trias Hospital:

Medical Board
It is made up of all chiefs of service, autonomous section chiefs, and some non-medical unit heads, and it meets whenever there are issues to be discussed.

Nursing Board
It is made up of all supervisors and Nursing supervisors and two elected members who are part of the Clinical Board, and it meets some eight times a year.
