Presentation:

The mission of the Neurosurgery Service is to provide excellence in assistance, teaching and research with international scope for patients with neurosurgery pathologies in the area of Barcelonès Nord and Maresme. As part of the Neurosciences area, it also has the mission of providing a portfolio of tertiary or highly complex services in the same geographical area and in the province of Girona. It has all the resources that contemporary neurosurgery can offer:

  • Urgent neurosurgical continuous care by expert on-call specialists.

  • Superspecialized neurosurgery units.

  • Technification, surgical navigation and highly complex treatments that require the integration of various units in the area of Neurosciences.
